In 2025, the Department of Software Engineering at Mehran University of Engineering & Technology (SZAB Campus, Khairpur Mir's) launched OpenHack '25 — the campus's first-ever 24-hour flagship hackathon and tech conference. Student developers gathered to solve challenges, code through the night, and showcase their technical grit.
